3/20/2023 0 Comments Po3 inscryptionSo, have a rummage around until you find something sizeable, and you should beat the first phase after roughly three turns. The key here is to find the largest file size possible, as this counts as extra direct damage. When one of these cards is destroyed, the Dead Byte ability makes you search for a file on your computer before dropping it on the scales. They also have the Mighty Leap sigil to prevent Airborne cards from attacking directly and the Dead Byte sigil, which is key to beating the boss. It will flood the board with Librarians that have one attack and two HP. In the first phase, you won’t be dealing any direct damage to the Archivist through normal means. It’s a gimmicky boss and, therefore, not too difficult when you know what to expect. Peruse your filesĪs with all bosses in Inscryption, the Archivist has two phases to defeat. Later on, we will look to bolster these cards further to ensure they stay alive for longer, but for the moment, the ability to attack any space is strong enough. Likewise, whenever you can upgrade a card, give it the Sniper sigil if it’s an option. It allows you to target any space on your opponent’s side of the board, which is incredibly useful for controlling the game. In P03’s version of Inscryption, you will want to look out for cards that have the Sniper sigil. Battle preparationĪs you work toward the Archivist, you will want to take every opportunity possible to obtain new cards and upgrade your existing ones. It is located on the bottom right-hand corner of the map and offers an intriguing but straightforward challenge. You can just click on each image (or right-click and open in a new tab) for a larger view.After overcoming the Photographer, the next boss you will need to defeat in Act 3 of Inscryption is the Archivist - a sneaky character who wants to infiltrate the files stored on your computer. Well, we can use them during Act 3.Holo Pelts and the Trader – We discuss this topic in a separate guide as it pertains to clues about Inscryption‘s meta.The Totem, sigil clues, and the Green Ooze – Several clues are found in various locations, allowing you to access an entirely different area.The Printer and Custom Card – This device is seen early on, but you’ll only be able to create a custom card once you reach Golly’s zone.CAPTCHA #2 and Gem Bot – This factory puzzle is part of progression after beating the Photographer and the Archivist.The Cuckoo Clock and Ourobot/Ouroboros – Although there’s a clue that appears much later, it seems this factory puzzle can also be done as soon as you can stand up in Act 3.CAPTCHA #1 and Moving Blocks – This factory puzzle can be done as soon as you can stand up in Act 3.In any case, you can refer to the pages below for the parts that you need help with: You’ll then receive additional information on what to do. It also bears mentioning that some of the factory puzzles in Act 3 of Inscryption require you to beat bosses and clear other zones first. He’ll remove your restraints, and you should be able to stand up. Once you reach this area, P03 will tell you that he needs a battery. This is called Botopia East (seen in the image below). You will need to progress further, at least until the second checkpoint that you come across.
